Funday-Monday

So, somebody pointed out that I had not updated my blog in a while. I never stated that it would be current but I guess nearly two weeks is some neglect.

Let's see, what all has happened...Got in some good rides over Labor Day weekend. Todd, Pete and I rode with others Sat on MoonRocks and Hoodoo. Pete left and we rode some with Frank and Stacie (maybe). Later we hooked up with some others and did Plantation, Fire Lane, Fire Trail, Son of Plantation. I had to work at the Shoe on Sunday but Monday went back and rode with Todd and Pete. Did Moon and Hoodoo again. We spent some extra time working on Moon trying to get good lines down. It helped. Thursday group ride was good. Kind of kicked my butt... We rode out through park and did Lindy, not a fun trail. Then Plantation to son of and then Roger showed me the four wheeler trail back to STP road. Much prettier then Tuscan back to 32. STP rode was full of swarms of knats. They were all in my eyes, ears, hair, mount and nose. It sucked.

Spent the weekend at the Shoe for last summer event. I didn't take bike because I was planning on sporting clays Sat morning. Weather sucked and couldn't work that in. Sunday was even worse due to state I was in from Saturday night. Old man can't really hang like I use to, oh well.

Funny, driving down I-79 this morning saw I truck headed north that looked familiar, all of sudden realized it was Cyr with his bike in back returning from Champs. Think he was eye balling my cool ride. Will check in with him later.

Looks like I might get a road bike instead of a cross bike. Unfortunately the new Fisher won't be available until November or such. Just gonna keep up the mtb and gym thing until then. Not much else. Oh yeah, I am getting some new bobos. They should be in this week. Kind of stoked on this.

A particular someone wants me to do the Big Bear Ultra this weekend. I just don't know if I am up to it. I will get back to youon this....
