Wednesday...Wednesday...Wednesday..

The best thing about Wednesday is there is only one more day until group ride day in Davis. I have told many people that my week goes much better when I have this ride to look forward to. I enjoy the exercise, the pain, and the overall social aspect. I had to miss out last week because a co-worker screwed the schedule up. I made sure he understood the importance of NOT messing it up this week. What is even better is I plan on riding up there on Saturday as well.

Wednesday...no riding went to Y and got in my work out. I have slight pull in a back muscle but hopefully worked it out decent enough. 30 mins in the ellip is no problem and probably work up to 40 soon. The whole 65% percentile PT4Joints taught me seems to be really working. I have a dropped 5 lbs and even had to tighten up a notch on the ole belt.

So tonight is the big history night in Denver. I think it is a good thing for this milestone to have been crossed. What is unfortunate that is....I'm not gonne get poli on here right now.

Looking like a great weather weekend. I have to work Sunday but planning on riding Sat and Monday. No worky Monday since it is holiday, yeah.

Raindrops-Lost Rides-Electrical Shocks

So...I took my bike with me to Parkersburg today hoping to get in a ride. I was going to try and catch up with KH for a ride but she has boo-boo knee and couldn't make it. Went to check out the Parkersburg Bike Shop http://www.athensbicycle.com/

Met Greg, real nice guy. They have a great selection of Park Tools, Pedro fluids, Trek, Fisher and Cannondale bikes. Check them out.

Ok, got on the road after my short GPS guided tour of a few Parkersburg neighborhoods trying to get back to the interstate. What's up with the serious lack of convenience stores out by 50 and I-77? I had no water, a bad attitude, and no sure source of maps for Northwood. Needless to say, I drove on planning to check out a lap at Watters Smith State Park near Lost Creek http://www.watterssmithstatepark.com/. The clouds looked a little bleak so I thought I would check out radar on the smartphone

The only clouds were headed directly for guess where?????

I get 30 feet from entrance to park amd guess what? Rain

So I decide to head home and do some around the house projects since I had no workout clothes in the car so no stopy at the Y.

The biggest lesson of the night, when working with fluorescent lights (plug-in type) wait a few minutes after unplugging, before handling them. It definately felt weird with the voltage going through my body. I can honestly say I feel it in my heart but it doesn't seem like it will be a lasting impact. WOW, all this from a small light. Who would have thunk??

That will be all for now...
